Membership Structure
We’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about INDIVIDUAL membership and what
it means at AALF. We want the Anytime Anywhere Learning Foundation community to
be active, connected, and relevant; for that to be a reality, we will need you
and your colleagues to engage and contribute.
In turn, we are structuring membership around that contribution. Your most valuable
contribution is a commitment to sharing your expertise, insights, and experiences
with us to expand anytime, anywhere learning to truly global proportions. That
ongoing contribution will now become your “dues”; think of this as activity-based
membership, where value represents more than monetary means.
However, monetary contributions do play an important role in any organization, and
AALF is no different. Therefore, should you choose, or your schedule dictates, a
more passive membership, we will accept a monetary contribution in place of your
activity-based membership.
The effect of these membership changes are fluid and we are working hard on ironing
out any wrinkles to the system. Concerning INSTITUTIONAL memberships, we will soon
post an update as well.
How do I become a member?
Joining AALF is straightforward. You simply fill in an online form and
submit it to us and then:
- Institutional Membership. An Account Representative will assist you
with account setup.
- Individual Membership. Your account will be automatically created. An
AALF Account Representative will then contact you to welcome you to AALF and
instruct you on membership rights and responsibilities.
