In this issue, we take a look at conferences for educational leaders involved in anytime anywhere learning. To start with, we announce the new AALF Leadership Summits that will make their way around the U.S. in March 2007. We're also happy to highlight AALF member Lausanne Collegiate School, who run the Laptop Institute in Memphis, Tennessee. Tying together our conference theme, AALF President Bruce Dixon provides an engaging editorial about the important role conferences play. Finally, AALF program manager Matthew Hoover provides a summary of his visit to the Maine Association for Middle Level Education in Sugarloaf, Maine in October.
