Parents give mixed reviews to school iPad program
Posted by: Susan Einhorn

Students and teachers in Downers Grove elementary schools have reported to the school district that they are happy using iPads in class and that the devices have had a positive impact on learning.

Downers Grove School District 58 officials surveyed hundreds of students, teachers and parents in the spring to collect feedback on how well the devices are working in and out of the classroom. The district recently completed its first year of a pilot program aimed to equip all 5,000 students in the district with an iPad mini within three years.
