Tablets and laptops to be compulsory for kindergarten students at Wollongong school
Posted by: Susan Einhorn

Kindergarten pupils at Mount Ousley Primary School, in Wollongong, had previously shared electronic devices in the classroom when researching, learning maths concepts and spelling words.

But from the start of the 2016 school year it will be compulsory for kindergarten through to Year Two students to have their own devices.

The school has not put a time limit on how long students will spend using tablets or laptops, as this will vary depending on what the children are learning.
