Laptop initiative: so far, so good

| Class has been in session for weeks, and Farmington middle-schoolers are using their new laptops for just about everything. More than 2,200 students in local middle schools received Apple MacBooks this year as part of the Farmington Learning Initiative. Children are free to take their laptops home and are expected to bring them to school every day fully charged. Parents paid $25 a student for the service. |
