| Free laptops for Indigenous students |

| The Northern Territory's Shepherdson College on Elcho Island will be one of the first schools in Australia to receive free computers from the organisation One Laptop Per Child. The computers will be loaded with 30 educational programs and an internet connection. The children who receive them will be able to keep them. |
