Grant will boost technology learning at North Rowan High
Posted by: Justina Spencer

SALISBURY Rowan-Salisbury Schools has received a nearly $200,000 grant from the Golden LEAF Foundation for its “Learning on the Go – Anytime-Anywhere” technology project at North Rowan High School.

The grant allows the school system to rapidly expand the iPod touch program at North Rowan by providing an iPod touch to every 11th-grade student and equip every 11th-grade classroom with a MacBook Cart and wireless Internet access, said Phil Hardin, the school system's executive director of technology.
