| I read on June 2 in one of the daily newspapers, an article by Dr Noel Kalicharan commenting on one of the decisions of the new administration (also an election promise), to give a free laptop to every child who wrote the SEA exam. I tend to agree almost totally with Dr Kalicharan’s comments in light of the current crisis in our education system. From a distance, outside the sphere of the education system, it seems like a brilliant idea but clearly it was not a well thought out one. |
