New Educational Opportunities for Aboriginal Youth-Now a 'Click' Closer With BMO's Support
Posted by: Susan Einhorn

Today, BMO Financial Group donated $750,000 to The Belinda Stronach Foundation in support of the One Laptop Per Child Canada Program. Through this initiative, up to 5,000 computer laptops will be distributed to children aged 6-12 in Aboriginal communities across Canada.

"Aboriginal youth are the fastest growing population in Canada, and unfortunately many do not have access to the learning tools they need to help them realize their fullest potential," said Stephen Fay, National Director, Aboriginal Banking, BMO Bank of Montreal.
