Coast school cuts popular laptop program

PARENTS are furious that a new school principal has axed a laptop program targeted at 156 families two weeks into her new role.

Planning was underway to implement the program at Ashmore State School this year for students in seven classes from years 4 to 7, with parents originally agreeing to pay for the laptops periodically.
