Central Lee Community School District is inching closer to its goal of having a laptop in the hands of every one of its high school students by the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year.
Currently, some staff at Central Lee have the new Apple machines, as the district leased the computers this year in order to give teaching staff a year to familiarize themselves with the new Macbooks. Officials stated last year that they wanted to get as much of the new technol- ogy into the teachers’ hands this year so that they are up to speed by the 2011-2012 school year when the high school students receive their laptops. |
