During the last Election Campaign in St. Kitts & Nevis, our Government promised to deliver laptops to the children in the 5th Forms of our High Schools, if re-elected. This was a fascinating promise.
The Opposition in both islands saw it as an election gimmick only. They did not see it really happening, and poured cold water on it. Naturally, when the laptop distribution commenced, first in Nevis to the 5th and 6th Forms, and later in St. Kitts to the 4th and 5th Forms, the Oppositions were stunned. |
