| The kids of a Far North school who traded books and set lesson times for laptops and self-management have notched up their school's best progress in reading. The trial has been such a success it is being expanded next year, with some parents digging into their own pockets to equip their kids with iPad-style tablet computers - even though the school is in one of Northland's poorest areas. |
